I had to go under when I did it, but only because initial needles without adivan put me out. From what I hear while you're awake doing it, you'll only feel the numbing shot. After it get's done, it really isn't as bad as everyone (that's never done it) says it is. You wear tighty whiteys or whatever for about 4 days, the first one being uncomfortable, and by the third you should be at 90% good.

Just be sure to wax the wilson like 10 times before you raw dog it and think you're safe.
