Just somthing I thought would be helpfull to have in here.

I got the basics via PM, but for anyone else that comes in new, it might be nice to have.

See I was originally going to wire in an actual resistor box, but a lot of people do the inline resistor setup, so I'm probably going to go that route, just because it's cheaper, and IMO easier.

If we're talking a honda, pop off the deadend plug and plug in a box off an accord.
Or if you have an obd0 box, cut off the plug and solder an obd1 dizzy plug on, then plug into the dead end plug.

cost me next to nothing to go either way with parts from a you pull it.

I personally try and NOT cut a stock wire on my harness at all costs, the fewer splices the fewer chances for future little gremlins to surface.

2 ohm + 7 ohm = 9 ohm, not 12 ohm.

2ohm + 10 ohm = 12 ohm, that of high imp injectors.
you fail at math

How about I measured 3 resistor boxes that came out of hondas and they are all between 6.5 and 7.5 nig nog.

90+ Accords are OBD1. It's the only Honda that obd1 started that early. And yes, All accords have resistor boxes arlready. It's that amp looking box on the drivers side shock tower.

I helped a friend do this recently, he was on a shoe-string budget and short on time. He picked up four 10ohm, 15watt white ceramic resistors - wattage can be higher but not lower. Once we figured out the injectors were clogged ( ), it fired right up. 2k miles later no issues.

1) cut the yellow/black wires for all injectors (one each, nog!). He did it right at the fuel rail, but anywhere before the deadend connector works
2) solder a resistor into each spot you cut - doesn't matter which direction, just don't mix the wires up.
3) Grind out mini-tab inside the connector on each injector for obd1 honda connectors, they usually have one. Install injectors.
4) start car up with basemap, adjust load cells or dead time corrections if you have them (like in eCtune)
5) have a beer...or start with turbo kit install.

Maby he meant harness not ecu. Thats the way I did my resistor box
