I didnt have the same ones, but I had quick release with that plastic shit, and it melted where it came out of the turbo. Worked great for my BOV, and stuff like that. Someone told me they make all metal quick release adapters.

I'm not understanding what happened, besides the valve beating the piston. Mind explaining, such as failed retainers, keepers, or valve stems?

the valves got so hot from my anti lag they got soft and the force of the spring wanted to pull them out backwards, the pistons are fine but a couple of the retainers are a little beat from hitting the rockers when the valve stretched

Time to add sodium...at least for the exhaust side. The only problem is honda valve stems are already so thin.

No need for sodium valves. At all.

Jake I dont think it weas the antilag. Looks like it went lean (you did mention this happened after upping the boost?) It went lean and EGTs got very very hot by the looks of it, maybe more than once...  Fuck Superstretch/snap valves though. Go Ferrea. Ive NEVER had an issue. Valves do look like contact was made... Pics of valve reliefs?

NICE CATCH Jake....Glad those things didnt cost you a bottom end
