The performance community in Alberta is smaller then one would think... It was just a grapevine rumor until now. Some one (honestly can't remember if it was mike or luke that told me) thought they saw them on a zephyr build.

Yes sir. Strange brakes in the rear. Pull the rear end out, weld the axle tubes. Put c clip elims on. Install back into car.

Robb just offered me a high mileage but clean Outback for ~$1000, first thing that came to my mind was your car and an LSx swap - I love the Subaru chassis, but the drivetrain is crap.

IDK... I'm not feeling it this morning.  Maybe if you posted up some sweet burnouts to inspire me I might change my mind?  :P

too bad they couldnt keep the awd..

There aren't many AWD vehicles that are as fast in a straight line or on a road course unless you have R34 or 911TT money.  The Subaru shit would simply fall apart under the abuse with LSx torque thrown into the mix, so why bother?  A correctly set up aluminum block LSx Scooby would fucking flay the flat four failures, and be cheaper too.

i realize the stock awd setup would be total fail with LSx power, but living in the asshole of the universe where we generally get fuckloads of snow for what seems like half a year, AWD is more appealing... i also realize it would have to be custom parts, (as if the LSx isnt) but from what i read there is no room at all no matter what you have...

that sir, is my reasoning behind it.

The civette rocks out in the corners very well. Straight line too, so you could properly setup up the scooby swap.

Here are 2 videos of my buddies rides. Low 9 second rides, 147mph and 148mph. S10 is 2 12" subs, ac, power windows, spare tire, etc etc. Full factory trim. 4000lbs. 88mm precision, a/w, nitrous, etc. Mustang is a twin 70mm 6.0l. meth, a/a. etc.

LS1 S10

1 fast car, 1 slow car=Still a lot of spinning

Lots of power + AWD = fail in the snow.  Keep your winter beater stock, and don't worry how the toy goes in the snow?

Ok ok, no more dick pictures from me.

The belt is just the alt/waterpump belt. I believe he was 7400rpm on that pull, spun it waay too high and it chucked the belt.

Ok this order came in a couple days ago. Next pay day I'll order the material to build the manifolds.

Precision billet wheeled 67mm units. Tial MVS 38mm v band gates and Tial Q bov.

Oh yea, and I got this 70 Acadian 327/m22 car. The body looks rough, but is damn straight and rust free. Probably the same or less amount of rust as my Chevelle. Best part.... FREE. My uncle gave it to me. Plenty of vintage correct performance parts. Probably do a similar build to the Chevelle.

A pair of 67mm's, I like where this new build is headed! I assume with those you are shooting for 4 digit power. I really need to make it up to Red Deer this year to see this in person, I am moving an hour's drive closer though in a couple weeks (from okotoks, to airdrie).

Run it semi hard for the year, and then near the end probably put an ad in the for sale section titled "Yard Sale" and I will list whatever I chuck out of the stock block hahha

Kill mode? I prefer to call it |yard sale mode"

We are shooting for 8xxrwhp. Who knows. Its been done. I was in the 650 mark last year on 11-14lbs on the 76mm. Had false knock all year though, even on race gas.
