Try going in to device manager, open up the com port for the hulog and change the number. It doesn't matter what number you change it to, just change it. Then go back to Crome and change it to the new number. Should work. I have to do that almost every time I use a Moates device of any kind.

so i got it working. the HULOG, Ostrich, and CROME are all playing well with each other.  :-*

new 2.5bar installed and working.....btw remember to change maps FIRST. then start car to warm it up lol.

rewired fuel pump to the connector. pump sounds better, i think. all in my head im sure either way.

rewired, fix, replaced bad relay for my alarm, now it both locks and unlocks LOL.

http://www.gravityimports.com/CROME_v1.6.x_Manual.pdf <~ CROME user guide/setup/help i found in another post, worth reposting!

went and did some pulls, laptop isnt holding a charge for as long as i would like, especially with the learning curve of this shit lol. after a couple auto tunes, it developed a shit ass injector cut off that i need to fix still. but the ramp into boost cleaned up pretty nicely. wasnt really logging to well past a couple lbs, so i made a semi-blind adjustment.... seems pretty solid 10.6-10.8afr's up to 10.1-11.1psi up to about 5k rpm's. gotta say, it fuckin rips. i havent driven a small turbo this quick in a long time. stock 2g talon w/t25 was just stupid heavy, and my del sol with t25 was also heavy as shit. CRX doesnt weigh shit, and gets up and moves!

It will pull harder with less fuel. That's way too much.

Glad it's sorted out though. I hate Crome. I still use it a lot, but my own car has Neptune.

yeah. ill get it down to mid 11s. the battery just isnt there in teh lappy anymore tho.

still figuring out the datalogging. manual helped a bunch. was looking at some of my logs after dinner. need some more WOT pulls. then move onto VTEC. need to find a decent road for this lol.

shit i also forgot this gas is probably a month or so old...probably could use some fresh shit... but then again its 9:1 and has like 8.5* of timing at 11psi? probably fine?

that brings up.... i have a P61 ECU that im using, it has a knockboard. does 1.6.5 support a knock sensor feedback/retard???

IIRC, Honda knock stuff doesn't work at WOT, it's for part throttle ign trim/fuel economy.

ehh fuck, i think your right. bah, wont waste my time then.

Needs way more timing.

timing scares me...more than fuel. ill work slowly on that later i guess. dial the fuel. or wait for dave/dyno...

with how small your turbo is I bet you could push 15-18* timing and be just fine. You did set you base timing on your dizzy b4 you did any tuning right?

Yea, on that setup I would start with double the timing. With plug readings I bet you would end up around 20°. Too little timing and too much fuel can be as bad as too little fuel and too much timing.

Gap sounds fine. He said it pulled hard. No need to have tiny gaps if the spark will jump a bigger one.

.018 for gap, at least thats were im at, or was it .015

Looks like it needs more timing+ boost before gap though.

I usually start around .025". I like to run the biggest gap that won't miss under boost. Makes idle/part throttle better

When I did the ls on 20lbs, I was running .035 on some 7's @ 22lbs and it made 296 on pump gas. Not once did it miss. Now I'm running 8's @ .032 on the lsv, @ 28lbs on pump gas and it made 436. Didn't miss on those either.

so my high cam fuel maps look fucked? all the same numbers in each column? getting higher as boost goes up. but 2d not really 3d like the low cams...if i make sense.

and on the log from getting lunch today i tipped in hard 3rd, builds boost QUICK, then BAM revlimiter, cough/fart, lol... broke tires loose on a slightly damn road. but was fun. log looks ok. hitting 10s quick, then back to 11.8s or so right before the limiter. happen do quick, not sure how useable that is? but when im fallowing it single cell on the fuel map, when it crosses over into vtec, it is highlighting cells at like 8300rpms? the RPM shows at 4003 or something on the info screen on the right......so wtf?
