Satin coat buffs off with a flapper disc pretty easy.

Ordered up a throttle body coupler and t bolt clamp last night. Put in a jew offer on a intercooler. I guess I'll see if my sweet talking the seller works. Once I get those, I'll set up the intercooler and see what I have to do about my radiator. Have a feeling it's not gonna work, but worst comes to worse, I'll order up a rad from speedway.

Went by my local pacific/central welding store today. Checking o see if they had any drop/remanence Of 2" sch40. Had about a 2' piece laying in the corner. Needless to say I walked out with it for a whopping $3.55 so I'm gonna take this galvanized bullshit back to home depot and get my $20 back. Also order up my intercooler today. Dude didn't take my jew offer, but counter offered and still sold it to me for $30 less then anyone else on ebay.

ok, So.........

So this is the intercooler I ordered. Will be here next week. Got it on ebay. It was $175 buy now or offer. So I offered $130 and he counter offered $155 shipped. So I snagged it.

Ordered a 1.5 to 1.75 90* coupler to come off my Chevy lower rad hose,

Then I ordered 2 of these 1.5 90* couplers to snake the rest of the lower hose to the thermostat housing.

Picked this upper 2005 suburban radiator hose at my local auto parts store to test fit. If it looks like it will work im gonna take it back and order it on online for 1/2 the price of the local jew auto parts stores.

Here is the throttle body coupler I ordered from Squeeze performance. I also ordered a 3.75" t bolt clamp. If you use the couplon code "sloppy" you get like 25% off. and free shipping on orders over $20. Got the coupler and clamp for like $21 shipped

Hope all this shit shows up by Monday so I can figure out what else I need to order up for hoses.

Well my intercooler will be here tomorrow. I spent yesterday rotatilling my back yard. So I have to finish up the rest of it up.

So later on this week I should hopefully get some time to get the intercooler mounted up and then see what the fuck I'm gonna do with the radiator. Once the rad plumbing is done I can then get the exhaust manifolds finished and the turbos mounted and the charge pipes and exhaust done.

So it looks like I'm gonna drop my radiator off at a shop local to me to have them move the top hose outlet on the rad from the pass side to the drivers side. It will make a whole bunch more room for me to run my charge pipes. Guy is only gonna charge about 20-30 to move it over and plug the old hole. Once I get that back I can then start mock up of my charge pipes and where I need the turbos and all the bullshit. Until then it's a hurry up and wait kinda thing.

Well, I'm cutting out of work early today to drop my radiator off at a local shop to have him move the top hose outlet on the radiator from the drivers side over to the pass side. Here is how close it is right now. It only about 3" away.

Hope to have it back by Monday so I can start fitting up the intercooler, charge pipes and turbo placement. Then I can tac weld up my shit for the exhaust manifolds and really start buttoning it up.

Well fuck. Took it to the guy and he said it's gonna leak. Said it's falling apart inside and that it would cost $500 to remake it. Said fuck all that noise. So I'm going to probably pick up a radiator on ebay. Fuck!!!! More money I didn't want to spend. This is the one I'm looking at. It's for a early mustang.

I have to trim out for the silicone couplers, I'm going to pull the grill and the front bumper assembly tonight and get my Depth set then I'll order up my couplers. but before I do that I'm going to dig through my bucket that I have of extra couplers

So here is the intercooler bolted in. I pushed it as far forward as I could before hitting the grill. I was able to gain about a extra 3/4" over what I thought I was going to.

So in the picture you can see the bolts that hold the intercooler on are a little long. I got some that are even longer and I'm going to drill holes in the radiator flange and mount the radiator on the same bolts. That way I don't have to make any crazy brackets that hold the rad in place.

Well....

Intercooler Installed for final fit

baller shims (washers stacked and then wrapped in electrical tape to hold them together)

Extra long bolts to mount my radiator on

radiator mounted

Upper coolant radiator hose made

now I just need to wait for the rest of my silicone couplers to show up and I can cut the rest of the radiator support out for my charge pipes.

My charge pipe couplers showed up. I ordered the wrong fucking silicone 90Â° couplers that come off the turbo. Fuck!! Needed 2, 2"-2.5" 90Â° and I ordered 2"-2.25" 90Â° and other than that, all my employees are quitting at work. Have a feeling that my 2 hours a week that I have to work on the car are gone for a while.....lol fuck me!!
