Last night I installed caps on my cold side charge pipe and pressurized it. Held 20psi with a super slow leak from my caps. So its good to go. Just need to clean and paint it.
Today I got the oil drain mocked up. Fucking ebay oil return flange that bolts to the turbo said it was 1/2 npt, when I tried to screw a barbed fitting into it, it didnt fit. So I borrowed a 1/2" tap and taped it out to the right size. It must have been btp and not npt. I also drilled the holes in the oilpan for the return flange(same as the oil return flange on the turbo), and now I just need to clean it up. But im gona wate on that untill i figure out where the hell Im gona put my drainback from my catch can.
So the plan for this weekend is do and oil change, drill and weld an o2 bung in my downpipe, build an adapter to go from my 3" dp to my aftermarket, 2 3/8" exhaust. (just for the time being) And if I have time, clean and paint my charge pipes. Also would like to clean out my intercooler again, just to make sure I got all the chunks of aluminum out when I cut the tanks for the 3" pipes, and hit it with another coat of low gloss black.
