yep just today.. #3102310-10 iirc...fast xfi.. good to 1000hp

That turbo setup will make over 1000hp not even trying.  :noel:

well then if it does. new pump and injectors then..

Or just turn the boost down, as 1000rwhp = quicker then 8.50's.

25.5 cage is pricey and so is the other safety equipment that goes along with it.

To the OP don't forget to fab up the chute mount now too, as I am sure this will go 150mph+ on the first hit.

ok so i ordered up the fast xfi efi master kit... damn its like christmas...




started some of the removal of old mani...


cnc'ed intake runner..

new mani and shit mocked up for throttle cable..

just went ahead and installed all the sensors, rails and injectors..




thats all i got done today.. next step is do the fuel system... wiring etc..
heres the pump...


so far iam very impressed with the kit.. shit they give you all the an fittings for -6,-8, and -10 an for your fuel setup.. shit..

more to come in the next few weeks...

so this kit came with 60 lb injectors with are around 630 cc .. plenty for 900-1000whp?.. just curious , should i get 80 lb'ers?... fuel pump is good for 1300hp..

No, they will only do 600-650whp.

More like 750, with no margin of safety.  Well, that's with my SBF hat on.  Mr. Ed made 538whp at 95% duty off a set of 42's aka 440cc.

171702's routinely go for $680 shipped, actually.  One is being strapped to a friend's LQ4 currently.

171702 is a 75mm compressor vs the 80mm 177287 that I quoted above.

ok guys need some input here... this would be the best way i can come up with for the fuel rail set up.. now this is all mocked up with some of the old an lines off the old setup. the rears of the rails would be linked with a -8 an loop. then as the pic shows.. come around and out to the reg. now the blue an fitten  you see on bottom od=f the reg goes back to the tee on pass side feed. then the by pass -6  silver an out the btm of the reg back to fuel cell.. this work or what? pics...





give me some feedback guys.. space is tight on the rear of mnotor to firewall..and also the -8 feed is on pass side.. would like to run rteturn on drv side..

This seems to be more of an Eastern trend, out West even promod stuff typically runs 1/4, I am honestly not certain if there is any 1/8th stuff in that Seattle area.

So if I have this clear, the fuel pump feed is coming up the passenger side of the car (opposite that of the regulator), into the open "T" into the picture, feed all of the injectors (through a rear loop not pictured) and back to the regulator and then the return will run down the drivers side? Correct?

If that is the way you are doing it then you can either remove that open T on the passenger side, and run it as you have it, but block off one of the side ports on the regulator.

Or you can do it the same as above but run a line from the T on the passenger side, into one of the side ports of the regulator.

Or the ideal way is you move that T back behind the engine, have each rail fed from that T behind the engine, and then the front of the rail each gets fed into it's own port in the regulator, and then the return as is.

and yes your correct on this setup as i explained.. well i would run it like you say but the motor is real tight to the firewall... and yes the open tee would run under water pump and connect to the open side of reg. i may still try to mock up the way you said just to see if i can fit it, if not just delete the tee and block that side of reg port..this will still work ? in my understanding its just a super long honda fuel setup, with the reg on the end..

Basically, the reason that guys like to Y or T it before the rail, is it "supposedly" gets better distribution, then done as a long Honda style setup. However I am not sure I buy it, as if there is pressure then there is volume. However velocity may be significantly different one end to the other, but not sure how that effects making power.
