quoted from the owner off another forum:

I pieced most of my kit together some local parts others from the states... ems' are going for a good price these days. My manifold was custom but Aaron @ Weirtech he is a local member he kept the jig of the manifold to build others. No oil relocation kit needed.  Then i had all my install done at Advance Power House and couldn't be happier.

Brian is very knowledgeable with S2000's he has his own turboed one also. He has also has an in house dyno. One thing i really recommend  you get, are the Injector Dynamics Injectors my car idles like stock runs like stock absolutely amazing.

I'm currently putting down 422 at 12 Psi on a stock block never touched, with my exhaust restricting a bit. Over the winter I'm going to pick up the Inline Pro 3 Inch and retune should net my hopefully 440-450 at the same psi. We reached 487 at 14 psi but because of the exhaust felt it was safer to run at 12 for now.
Brian is an amazing tuner/installer he owns the shop but does almost all the work himself and is extremely patient.

Heres a pic of my engine bay

Fitment is nice. I would be concerned of warrantying the wrapped mani though.... :-\  That is asking for trouble.  Not so much the welds but the material itself. I have seen wrapped sch 10 crack in the middle of 90's when the EGTs are clearly through the roof! I guess if the tune is on it may not be an issue. Making nice numbers! Having demand for the S2k stuff? Nice to have a jig so you can bang them out. Once those S2k guys see that set I would imagine you are going to be lining them up!

yeah, i asked him to take the wrap off.  i'd like him to come back so i can make a support brace too.

no, people are not lined up for stuff with me.  i'm not trying to get people lined up, i want to avoid that so i don't get too far behind.  i have enough work right now.  i just finished a bmw m3 exhaust for a customer who is going to be selling them, so now i have to build 2 more.  then i have a bunch more smaller jobs on the go as well.  it sucks when i'm the only one doing the welding.  i've been working day and night the past week, and i plan on trying to keep up the pace because i'm not making enough money at this stuff.

i charge $65/hour, but if i charged that for a manifold that takes me 25 hours to build (+ material cost), there is no way i'd be able to sell it.  you have to consider what the customer is going to be willing to pay for something.

this bmw exhaust i just made for a customer, he has his own website where he wants to sell his OWN products rather than importing stuff like magnaflow or something and selling their stuff.  it took me more than 30 hours to make the prototype and the jig for it and i can't sell it for $2000+ when he is turning around and trying to make a profit selling them online to his customers when you can buy ready made exhausts like magnaflow, or borla for around $800-$1500.  that is part of the inherent problem with doing custom work... when someone comes to you and wants something they can already buy for cheap from a mass producing chinese knockoff company there is just no way you can do it.  that is why most of the setups i sell are one offs.  the s2000 manifold i'd do again for $1250, but why would someone buy it if they can get a full race for a few bucks more?

arron looking good. i remember how much of a pain in the ass it was when i built an s2000 sidewinder manifold. trying to retain a/c and oem oil filter is tricky.

Now get back on the crx project.

properly set up the robot makes the inside penetration look about as good as the outside, holds a perfect arc length, equal application of filler, ect

yes it does.  it holds the heat in and overheats the material to the point of structural failure.  ceramic coating will do the same thing if it is not coated inside and out.  corky bell talks about it in maximum boost.
