i have been working like a nigger.

had 2 hrs sleep last night, went to class at 9-10:30 peaced out early then went to go buy some odds and ends. started working on the thing around 12:45. Shit is going good nigga. Prob need some help tonight to throw the thing in the car. Who knows I might man it up or get rachel to help me. I think i jacked up the rear end of my car too much. It went from rally rake to sand dune buggy rake

It needed watering, it looked a bit dry.



no just kidding, it was boiling so that the metal would expand to fit onto the crank(press fit turns into hammer fit)

and I am at work till 5 so after that I have Pistol, benny, and lloyd coming to help me. Rachel is picking up parts when she gets up around 330. So that means it SHOULD be running tonight. Persistance is key, everything seems to have went together smoothly thus far. Putting the motor in the car with these mounts was a cunt though.

- find studs for the intake & exhaust( i cant seem to pull them off my LS motor without fucking them up and they are missing off this head

easiest way i found to get those out is to thread 2 nuts on the stud and then tighten them together, then just loosen the nut closest to the head and should come right out.

tried that. I might try adding some heat to the equation. If not I think you can buy them at lordco

ha i though you were referring to getting a snapped stud out... apparently im good at that, studs that have enough thread for two nuts should have been a breeze :P

negative on the OEM = Fram.

Genuine Honda filters are made by Honeywell (and they make fram, not the other way) and we have been getting mostly Filtech filters. same manufactor as the S2000 filters.

15400-PLM-A02 = Honeywell
15400-PLM-A01 = Filtech (they can and will supersede numbers as they feel like it)

Honestly its a filter it filters oil i dont think any brand is really bad just replace it often.I will be over in a hour or two donkey balls to get some shit done and this pile ready for Leed magic time.

just got home from levis. made some more progress. biggest problem was trying to figure out how dave got the wastegates on  :somb: but then after levi got the axles in and new spindles bolted up, realised the calipers dont fit. so back to stock axles he goes i guess

one side stock axel is in there. The caliper spacing needs to be another 1/2inch. I got owned after I thought i figured it out.


all but 2 vaccum lines are hooked up, all wires except for one random plug, the distributor is almost totally wires. the wastegates and dumptubes are on and hooked up to vacuum lines.


now need to get 1 brass fitting, 1 platic tee, 1 dizzy screw and find that snap ring off the stocker teg spindles so they can go back together with the stock axels. finish ghetto rigging my radiator then put fluids in the fucking thing. Just got tired of working on the fucking thing in the cold.

good to go for morning

PS got fuel pressure and checked for leaks and I think we are good to go. no leaks !!!!!!
