sounds like something is loose and rattling around in your distributor until it gets jammed in something and snapped those tangs?

Ive had the same thing happen to me. Ended up being a bad bearing in the in the dizzy. But not felt fine.
Mine was the bearing in the dizzy. I didn't think I could pull it out. So I got a new dizzy from acuraoemparts.com for $112

Good spring there? I've seen people have worn out springs and it not pull the belt tight and it slaps around.

How's the water pump? Only time I've seen a honda fuck a timing belt up is when the water pump seized up.

I would guess the timing belt skipping is more of his concern for bent valves.and last I heard the non vtak motors didn't have piston to valve clearance issues.

The coil frying shit is crazy. Specially on two different cars.it only happened on the Integra.... i just have what seems like the same/similar no spark issue with both the DC4 and GVR4.
